How do I apply for a rental property?

Please fill out an application for all leaseholders, then submit the application along with proof of income and government-issued ID to leasingadmin@campanale.com.

I’ve been approved for a rental property, what’s next?

Welcome! Once you have been approved, a last month’s rent deposit will be required to secure the unit, then a member of our team will send you our Rental Agreement to sign and return. All Campanale’s lease terms are a minimum of 1 year for the first year. Prior to collecting your keys, you will be required to show proof that utilities have been transferred to your name and you have obtained the required tenant insurance.

Do I need tenant insurance?

Tenant insurance is required for all Tenants. Tenants will be asked to provide Campanale with a copy of this insurance annually.

What should I know after moving in?

For many helpful tips and troubleshooting, please refer to your Resident Handbook which can be downloaded here. If you require additional assistance, the Property Administrator will be happy to help.

What does the renewal process entail?

Approximately three months prior to the end of your lease, you will receive a notice via Canada post, giving you options to renew on a month-to-month basis or vacate upon the termination date of your lease. Please select your desired option and return it to leasingadmin@campanale.com.  If the document is not returned your lease will automatically go month to month.

How do I give notice to vacate?

Please submit an N9 via email to leasingadmin@campanale.com. Note that 60 days notice is required and you must vacate on or before the first of the month. The appropriate forms can be found on the Landlord and Tenant Board website. Or ask our staff and they will be able to assist you.

What should I expect after notice to vacate is given?

Once sufficient notice has been given, you will receive a move out confirmation letter explaining what to expect moving forward. Showings will be conducted in your unit and our team will make every effort to try and provide you with 24-hour notice.

What are some important tips for moving out?

Ensure you remove all your belongings from the home prior to vacating.

Keys are to be returned to the head office located on Bank Street and utility companies should be notified of your move. Please provide a forwarding address to Campanale.
