Drafting Technologist – Campanale Homes

Description:

Award winning Campanale Homes is seeking a Drafting Technologist to join our dynamic team.

Task List for Drafting Technologist Position:

  • Create lot specific drawings as requested based on completed schedule C.
  • Update lot specific drawings as necessary from completed change orders.
  • Complete and gather all documents required for permit submittal to the City of Ottawa and Town of Arnprior for plan review and permit issuance.
  • Miscellaneous building code searches & inquiries.
  • Preliminary standard working drawing creation for new models.
  • Site engineering drawing review.
  • Responsible for standard working drawing hard copy filing process.
  • Miscellaneous office tasks.
  • Follow all office process in an accurate and timely manner.

General Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting for new home building.
  • Strong ability to work as a team with coworkers.
  • Positive demeanor and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with site staff on drawing vs practical problems found with building on site.
  • Deal professional with consultants and municipal officials for plan revisions and permit issuance.
  • Work in a productive and accurate manner to meet timelines.
  • Have strong skillset with office systems such as, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.

Sales Management Administrator – Campanale Homes

Award winning Campanale Homes is seeking a Sales Management Administrator to join our dynamic team.

The general and specific requirements of this position are to provide administrative duties as required for the sales management team, both at the head office and at our satellite sales offices, including but not limited to:

  • answer sales inquiries, schedule appointments and maintain sales management calendars
  • accept and direct all incoming mail for the sales management office and courier items appropriately
  • organize and maintain the sales department paperwork, including but not limited to maintaining an organized and easily accessible filing system
  • assist clients as required at both head office and satellite sales offices
  • prepare Agreements of Purchase & Sale for all satellite sales offices
  • maintain the latest version of sales product specifications for all satellite sales offices
  • coordinate professional courses and training
  • create job postings required for the sales department
  • assist sales staff with administrative requirements and issues as required by sales management
  • provide coverage as requested by sales management for sales satellite offices
  • coordinate scheduling of model home and completed inventory cleanings
  • order supplies as requested by satellite sales offices
  • facilitate and maintain distribution and ordering of marketing materials and signage between marketing and satellite sales offices
  • prepare documents for MLS listings – Campanale Homes
  • maintain the database of all listings (MLS Documents on G:Drive)
  • update all forms when notified of changes by R.E.B.O.C.
  • ensure all pertinent documents are received from real estate agents and Campanale Homes sales personnel
  • post all MLS listings and follow appropriate MLS listings checklist (for listings and sales)
  • load listings onto MLXCHANGE
  • when home sales are finalized, prepare trade records and process Agreements of Purchase & Sale, including all pertinent documents as outlined on Campanale head office “Firm APS” checklist and forward to the accounting department
  • prepare lawyer letters and invoicing
  • book personal appointments for sales management
  • organize all personal bills/correspondence for sales management for payment or appropriate further action
  • assist other team members as required and facilitate clear communication between the sales management team and all other Campanale Group of Companies divisions and departments, as well as Campanale clients and service providers

Specific Skill Set Requirements:

  • new home APS (Agreement of Purchase & Sale)
  • Real Estate Board and MLXCHANGE
  • familiarity with GEAC operating system
  • presentations and event planning
  • real estate legal administration
